Before becoming tattooists, both of them improved their drawing skills by persistently watching and reproducing on paper the things around them, understanding how light and volume work. Once they got into the tattooing technique, they understood their way of working was more or less suitable for one or other style, developing their own ideas or people's ones the way they considered appropriate, tending most of the time to solid lines and simple shading for a better understanding of the idea.
Nevertheless, a good comprehension of the technique plus the knowledge of how light and volume work in the space lead them to approach their work in a different way from time to time, intending to be both faithful to reality as well as creative with compositions.
